Family, Church family, friends and Facebook friends: Well had the stress test this morning its called the Nuclear Flexscan. They still inject into your bloodstream. First for about one half hour they do nuclear scan of body. Then you rest for about 15 minutes. Then the next part they inject again and you feel like you are having a heart attack, your chest starts pumping big time your head and back of neck is pounding your legs feel like they are wrong, palpitations, nausea, instant headache (for me migraine) arms and hands felt numb...you just felt wrong!! Where the other test I couldnt do because my blood pressure high was 180. this one actually went down a little. A Cardiologist is in the room for this...they are monitoring on lots of screen and then two other persons dont know their job are there too. Then its go wait for about 45 minutes drink caffeine (2 coke) and eat crackers. Then back for the scan again for 30 minutes and finally they turn you over on your stomach and its a five minute scan. this is where you are uncomfortable and have to have your arms above your head. Finished and to the room for 2 hours waiting for results. Finally the report normal reading! Praise God for His grace. Cardiologist on call advised me I could be discharged. Hurrah (did I tell you I dont like hospitals...lol) Gods marvelous and healing grace. Am on a beta blocker for now after checking my blood pressure. This is to control the high blood pressure. Then blood pressure medicine cut down but twice a day always checking blood pressure. Monday I go to see my Cardiologist. Will be wearing a heart monitor for one month and whatever else he decides to help control this problem. I was just in NFRMC in September for the same thing. On Tuesday I go see my primary Dr. So got things going in the right direction. Kind of groggy weird like you normally feel after coming home from the hospital. Donald Wilburn is enjoying the fights at the familys Wilburn, home with some friends and Im here at home just resting. Hoping to see my Church family, Living Covenant Church in the am.
