Family ID # 209 - Fridley I am a struggling single mother of a developmentally delayed 6 yr old boy and a 16 yr old girl who suffers from severe depression and anxiety. I am unemployed so as to be able to be home with and care for the special needs of my children. Child support is inconsistent and unpredictable. I have no vehicle as the last 3 cars I did have all had transmission problems. I have no family support or friends near by so Im all alone. We still havent come up with the money for a Christmas tree yet. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated and would give me one day to have the feeling of a close little family with my kids. My daughter is currently not staying at home with me because of the stress from her special needs brother and the stress triggers her self injury (cutting) episodes. I would love a day away from the stress to give my kids the feeling of normal family time as most of the times are in reality pretty stressful. Our family just moved from a terrible neighborhood and had to leave a lot behind so we are starting over from nothing. We need bath towels,blankets,bedding,cleaning supplies,shower curtain,silverware,plastic dishes and cups.EVERYTHING. My son has sensory issues as well so he really likes things that are realistic with lights and sounds. Along the lines of cars,trucks,street signs etc. He really wants a train set, remote control helicopter ,model garbage truck. Any type of FORD truck. He wants a big stuffed Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. He likes police cars and taxi cabs. Mickey mouse, Peppa Pig,Blues Clues, Hello Kitty. His favorite is Tom and Jerry. He needs winter boots(size 4) Hes a chubby big belly kid so he needs buttons,collars and jeans. He needs knit elastic waste pants that stretch/sweat pants. T-shirts w/out collars. He loves pockets. Boxers size 10/12 Clothing size 7 or larger. He needs gloves badly and pajamas. Fleece blankets.Pillow. My daughter likes elephants,turtles,penguins. A giant floppy stuffed animal to cuddle at night. Sketch pad,notebooks,markers,colored pencils.Makeup,body spray,nail polish, headbands,brush.Perfume. Shops at Hot Topic at Northtown. Green dayCD (21st century breakdown) Blink 182, Paramore.Pillow,comforter,slippers (shoe size 9)She needs a winter coat size med/lrg womens. Plain black NO hood. Gloves.Socks,Sweaters and hoodies size med womens. Her favorite colors are black,purple and stripes. Thank you so much.
