Family and Friends - No replies are needed and no one need come. Our Ted is getting the best care available and his doctors are superb. I want to keep my word in letting people who love Ted and me know how he is doing. He has had a bad couple of days and is very ill. Doctors told me today that his liver has issues and a bilirubin level that should be no higher than 2 is 12.8 at last reading. There is also the possibility of blood clots near the lungs and perhaps an obstruction near the liver. He drifts from wakefulness to deep sleep and back. No additional surgeries are planned at this time because he would not be able to withstand the trauma. The good news is that the third formula appears to be working and has been dripping into his body since 5:00 PM yesterday and further pathology reports confirm that there is no cancer currently in his body. We still have a fighting chance if the nutrition can help to overcome the toxins and nothing further develops.
