Family and friends, if you are throwing away an old computer remove the hard drive. Make sure it is destroyed before placing in public domain. I recover old computers and salvage useful parts from them. I found three computers the other day and one was owned by the manager of a day care. It is full of social security numbers of the employees. Documents regarding a law suit. Bank statements. Photos and personal information of the children and families. It is creepy because it is a day care that Theresa worked at and she knows some of the families. I feel that this should be brought to the attention of the day care. I dont want to get someone in trouble, but as a parent I feel they should aware of the severity of this breach of confidentiality. What should I do?
