Family and friends, thank you for your ongoing love, prayers and energy you have sent to my beautiful boy and all of his family. Today is day 8 of his recovery, and he is still sleeping, healing slowly. Update: Trama Dr met with the family today and explained that Jared is in 2 comas. One is his own and one medical induced. He has a severe brain trama and theres no telling how long he will sleep. He has developed pneumonia, but a slight case and tonight his lungs were clearer. He will have another cat scan in the morning to see where he is and if Dr says hes ready, he will possibly have his surgery on his pelvus tomorrow afternoon. This is a very serious operation, Jareds pelvus is in really bad shape. High risk surgery. The Dr said today its a waiting game, not knowing how long he will be in a coma or the damage there is to his brain, we wont know until he awakes, if he awakes. Today after getting this news i collapsed, feeling like my life didnt matter anymore. Nothing worse than being a mother and being told this news, this boy is my only son and such a wonderful man, i cant imagine life without him. But i decided after talking to his precious son Brody, that i cant and wont give up on my son. So, this mom is going to get tuff and carry the strength to my other children, grandchildren, my daughter in Law, and all his extented family. For Jared i will be strong and bring to him everyday energy and all the hope and love of a mother who wont ever give up on her son. I know he will do his best to come back to us, hes a fighter, but for now he sleeps, just like a young boy again. Rest sweet man, take your time and find your way back, we are waiting.
