Family history. Intrigued with what little I know of mine (South America and China). Wondering of upheaval ensued to escape war--strife/discord/terror. Did he see bodies being dumped over the boat as he fled? What happened when he stepped on Hong Kong land? Where was were his sisters at this point? Was his dad already in England? How the heck did he start from scratch? Did she have to run for cover hearing gunshots penetrate the bodies of the military officials (and probably union leaders too) who were rounded up--from their beds, I think--at Fort Zeelandia by soldiers? My mom is a pretty woman, I dont think she struggled w/too many egregious incidents. Between my parents; they have lived on 4 continents, and speak 7 languages fluently and 2 conversationally. For that, on this day, Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, I am in awe and whole-heartedly grateful that I have my parents in my life. It hasnt been easy, as I struggled between 2 cultures; but all in all, they love me. Dad, Mom, Thank you for all you have done to ensure that we were safe and comfortable. I love you both so much. 1:40 p.m. https://youtube/watch?v=iUI5uLysKaE
