Family is absolutely wonderful.Jon and I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon at my sister Barbara OConnell Dingess house for a spur of the moment bbq. Now anyone who knows me, knows that I very rarely venture out during football season. I cant miss my beloved Irish. But my sister worked so hard on planning this and everyone in the family with the exceptions of two nephews and my son and his family were there. It was wonderful and we got to enjoy my dad and all of his jokes and I have to say you have to have a cocktail after those lol. Getting to see my godson who came in from south Carolina was priceless. He too is all grown up. My beautiful niece and handsome fiancee were there as well. Then there were all the locals with children. My girls were there with their families as was my niece and her husband. Sara the youngest was getting ready to leave for new Orleans to start another part of her life. So as I sit back and watched all the interactions I think that my mother would have been very happy with the way all the kids and grands and great grands turned out. Family is everything and thanks mom and dad for our chance.
