Family is something special. In 2004, I experienced something I would not wish on my worse enemy. After my release from a 45-day long hospitalization, I began, which I am still on, a long journey of recovery. During this time, my younger sister stated on a couple of occasions that was hard to go through. I thought the pain of losing Dad was bad but nothing can compared to the pain I had when we thought we were going to lose you. I am now witnessing some of that pain as I watch and listen to the pain in my Moms voice and the sound of her speech as she tries to mask her tears. You see, she has not one, but two siblings, who are experiencing health problems (both of which are hospitalized and both of which are miles away). The love of a mother and her child(ren); the love of a woman and her spouse; the love of a woman and her friends is different and great. But the love of a woman and her sibling(s) is unmatchable. That special type of bond is something that cannot be duplicated or compared and that connection is something that cannot be severed. I know it is not much I can do or say (short of my continued prayers) to help ease her pain during this experience but I am trusting GOD to grant her strength, courage, understanding and peace to help her through this. GOD, my plea is not only for my Moms strength, but for my Uncle Jr. and Aunt Lease, that they both rise from any afflictions which are trying to attack their bodies and minds and that they walk in divine health. That they will be released from the hospitals they are in completely healed and restored. And that YOU will receive all the honor and glory. In Jesus name. Amen. (Uncle Jr. & Aunt Lease, at the cry of the name Jesus, I declare and decree total healing over you both). JESUS!!!
