Family, it looks like we are going to have a good class. We have a number of the original classmates returning. In fact, it looks like we are going to retain much of the core of the class and we are adding some quality new people as well. Once again, here is the schedule for the Global African Presence 500 course as I see it now: First class, Great African Historians from Antiquity through the 19th Century; Second class, Great African Historians from the beginning of the 20th Century; Class 3, Travels in Africa with Runoko Rashidi; Class 4, The African Presence in Southeast Asia; Class 5, Great African Women in History; Class 6, Revolts and African Resistance Movements; Class 7, The Origins and Evolution of Pan-Africanism; Class 8, Introduction to the African Presence in Major World Museums. The first class will be next Friday February 7. All classes will be on Friday evenings at 9:00 PM United States Eastern Standard Time and will last approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. Runoko Rashidi is the Instructor and the class will be taught from at least three countries: Canada, the United States and France. The cost is $40.00 for the entire course.
