Family members describe 22-year-old Nana Leen Masaichy as A devoted daughter who loved to go to church. Masaichy passed away last night after being struck by a pick-up-truck in front of her house on Rt 15 at 8:14pm. Relatives say she had walked to the store to buy a calling card so she could talk to her dad in Chuuk. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. GPD Public Information Officer AJ Balajadia says the driver turned himself into police early this morning. His identity hasnt been released but Balajadia says he is a 44-year-old man from Guam who lives in Mangilao. No arrests have been made at this time but Guam Highway Patrol is investigating the accident according to Balajadia.
