Family – Visions Of The Elohim (Gen 1:26+27) (Day 4 When The Head Is Corrupted) We so far have been discussing the perfect purity of the Elohim (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and how the family should be a perfect representation of the Elohim in the Spiritual manifested to the Natural (Father, Children, Mother). Please don’t start saying that the Holy Spirit is a she or that there is a mother God! We said IMAGE this pertains to roles, responsibilities, character. The Holy Spirit is no more a “She” than Jehovah is a “He”… But we digress… Back to the lesson. Some are found of calling the uniqueness between the Father, Son, Holy Spirit as the “God Head”, Actually no such words or terms are used in the scriptures. Neither is the word “Trinity” for that matter. But we cannot ignore that the unity and authority between the Father, Son And Holy Spirit is unique and all powerful, given that truth we will use the term God Head here to refer to the Elohim (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). So in keeping with this constant the family unit is the image of the God Head. But we are fallen man! So then the “head” is corrupted! What do we do now!? This is why the great Apostle Paul used Jesus and the Church as an Image to sanctify the family. Gen 1:26+27 clearly says that family was created in the Image of the Elohim; But Paul in Eph. 5:21-6:9 uses the Jesus and the Church to teach family Spiritual Image understanding. Why did Paul do this? Because just like in our personal walk… The family also needed to be sanctified !... Tomorrow Day 5 More on… When the head is corrupted!...
