Famous Collabs: Scorsese & DiCaprio Now I cannot flaw Scorseses sharp scripting and damn suave camera-work and aesthetics- but this film loses not on design, but limitation. Sadly gone are Scorseses swift and timeless awesome music tracks- because unfortunately the 50s werent exactly a flourishing point for pulp pop. The great supporting characters like Alec Baldwins behemoth kingpin capitalist and Oscar winning Kate Blanchett (playing a real life Oscar winner)- are there, but Di Caprio hasnt quite matured and only really comes into his own- furious, maniacal and complex own around the third act. Milk bottles and madness. 5- Fans of the director will enjoy it, Fans of Di Caprio ( his acting ;) ) will like some of it. Aviaton film buffs will also enjoy- but they all sadly perished twelve billion aeons ago before humanity had developed a pre-frontal cortex. Or eyes. Or any proper taste -_- 5/10
