Fan Q: This will sound awful. My daughter is 13 and plays travel but shes really not that good. She loves the game, works hard, and gives 100%, has a great attitude, but the older she gets the more I see how much better others girls are at playing the game. Its not for her lack of trying. We support her 100%, and she takes lessons etc. my question is at some point should I encourage her to do other things? Or just allow her to decide. Its seems the older she gets the better the talent around her gets, and the less she is able to keep up athletically. SIFG: follow her lead. Sounds like a GREAT kid WHOSE attitude is an asset to her team. As long as she isnt discouraged, you shouldnt be.
