Fan Question: Im 21, and I had my LG almost 3 months ago. My fiancé and I have finally set our wedding for April 16, 2014. Well, heres the thing: my step dad and I have basically always disliked eachother. My real dad and I have recently started talking. My side of the family has always hated him and doesnt think he is worth my time. (My stepdads mom is quick to tell me Im stupid for talking to him) My mom understands and knows that Ive always wanted to get to know him. (She ha me at age 17 and they just werent good for eachother and she left him when I was 5. He never saw me again because of my moms orders) Anywho, my mother is pushing to have my step dad walk me down the aisle. I dont like him and he doesnt like me. He has said countless times how his two daughters (my half sisters) will amount to everything Ill never be. Well, plainly, I dont want him too. My real dad doesnt want to come to the wedding because he doesnt want to start drama with the family. My family doesnt want him there, but I dont think its fair. If I walk myself down the aisle, my side of the family will be furious. If my step dad walks me, Ill be unhappy. If my real dad walks me, my family will, again, be furious. I asked my mom to walk me, but she said to let my step dad do it. Im seriously stressing myself out. I dont want drama at the wedding, but with my family, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING. And Im always the one to do it wrong. Ive always been the black sheep. Im so confused and its starting to really upset me because my family isnt understanding my wants and Im getting pretty fed up with trying to please them. ANY ADVICE?
