Fan Question: My baby was born yesterday morning and nursed great from the get go, latched was excellent according to the lactation consultant and it was pain free. Last night she nursed constantly and my nipples are now red, inflamed and starting to scab. I met with another lactation consultant before leaving the hospital and she said her latch was great and to try different positioning at the breast. I have tried that and it is still super painful and brings tears to my eyes. I nursed my oldest child for 18 month with no nipple soreness. Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated!!! I am desperate ;(
