Fan Question/Rant: I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, this is my 2nd pregnancy and this pregnancy had been so complicated for me. First my doctor ordered me to see a specialist since my 2nd trimester because of me having preterm labor symptoms with my daughter, I almost went into labor at 25 weeks with my current pregnancy, then about 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I have lost a lot of weight as it is normal because Im over weight. 2 weeks ago the nurse practitioner at the specialists office scared me telling that I have a low lying placenta and that I need to deliver ASAP and told me the next they will have to perform the amniocenthsis on me. The next I went back terrified about what to expect, luckily the specialist was there because he said it didnt need to be done because my placenta was as close to my cervix as they had initially thought it was. Then my sons weight was estimated to 5 1/2 pounds. So I went to my doctor this past Monday and surprised to find out that he did not know what the specialists office was saying about my low lying placenta. Yesterday I had to go back to the specialist for another ultrasound and this time they estimated the weight to be 8 pounds 14 ounces, now my question is since Im 38 weeks and my baby is basically 9 pounds shouldnt they hurry up and deliver since they already decided to give me a c-section? I still have not gotten a date and it hurts me so badly to walk, Im walking around like I have poop in my pants because the pressure on my hips and butt hurt so darn bad. And my doctor is aware of the pain Im in. RP by -Shelby
