Fan Question: hi could you teach me which rock gold hide s in im lost Most gold erodes itself out of its natural host rock and continues to erode downhill with each rain or flood, it is SO heavy, heavier than any other geographic material, such as sand, clay, and rocks, that eventually it makes its way down to solid bedrock, it can go no further down. As the bedrock itself erodes and cracks, the gold continues to shimmy on down into the cracks squishing and molding itself into the bottom of the deepest natural cracks. Gold will almost always be found by cracking the bedrock and retrieving. Although, its always a good idea to run the overburden that you remove while digging to bedrock , there is gold there as well, that just hasnt quite made it all the way down. But you can also come across the original source of the river gold, usually a hydrothermal vein consisting of the original natural host material, usually created by having been molten at one time, therefore melting just the right scientific elements that created the gold. These veins are what end up as hard rock lode tunnels. The host rock can consist of many different rock materials, including quartz or porous hydrothermal ugly rock. ONE other material that I can think of at this time is clay layers. When there is a layer of clay between the source and the bedrock, gold may stick in the clay layer. Ive found that blue clay is usually the richest, this is just my opinion I derived from my personal experiences. Hope this helps. Please feel free to comment your own opinions and advice. Here... Thank you.
