Fan Update on Previous Posting: I posted a few weeks ago about my dog and what training options he has and the last option we had was putting him down because he is violent towards anyone but family. This is an update. I called a vet and trainers in my area. I told them about his issue about attacking anyone or anything he does not consider family. He dont know you, he instantly hates you and wants you dead. I asked the vet about behavioral meds and they said the way he sounds it could mess him up worse because it sounds neurological and with his age (hes 2) he could be going through another form of dog puberty and that will make him a lot worse. Trainers who have met him said its not a trainable thing they can fix. Well now he is attacking us. The past few days hes been sitting in the living room in an attack stance growling at us for no reason. Today, he went after my mom (who he usually considers his mom) in full on attack mode. For no reason and turned around and went after me for no reason. We had my brother come down to get him and put him up for his bad behavior and he attacked my brother and cut up his wrist all the way around. He has never done this to us EVER. Five minutes later he acted like it never happened. Tomorrow Im going to call the vet to inform him of what is going on. I called my trainer and he said that is definitely not a good sign that hes turned his aggression and violence towards us. He use to love my cousin and now wants to kill him. He chased my neighbor into her house screaming, he is barely a foot tall. If he was to get a hold of somebody my family would be on the news because of whatever damaged he has caused to somebody. People have told us to rehome him to somebody else but we cannot. Hes too violent. Hes been this way since 6 months old. Someone who has worked with dogs and been around dogs all their life has said the only way unfortunately to help him is to put him down because he will never be normal. We have had him since birth, weve had his daddy since birth. We have never had a dog act like him. Nobody has ever met a dog like him. Weve tried to rehome him before and the people who came have had experiences with aggressive dogs but they left empty handed because he was way to violent. Im not asking to be bashed, Im just asking for prayers that my family can get through this hard time and this hard decision we have to ultimately make. -Jessi **Guys keep comments civil and supportive.
