Fan q. Has anyone ever experienced a baby that just WONT latch. Hes 4 months. Hes bottle fed as we are adopting him. Drs said to buy a vice rating toothbrush to desensitize his mouth. Ok... Did that for weeks and we had NO changes. When you look at how he eats from the side. His tongue protrudes out past his bottom lip and there is no suction. He milks the bottle by pressure of his tongue only. He spills quite a bit of it. He was born tongue tied. It was corrected and the drs clear him still. Anyways its a struggle for every feed. He actually does a bit better if you dont hold it (kinda prop it while holding him so you can watch) but it still falls out of his mouth a lot! We have tried little nipples, wide nipples, slow flow, high flow. Drs are not helping! Yes hes gaining weight but theres something wrong! Any advice would help. I feel like a horrid mother and I dont know what to do. 👣Keturah
