Fan question: I am having a hard time with my mother in law. She continues to talk to my son and she refers to herself as mom. The thing that really gets me is when my son was younger she had mentioned to me that she had a dream that I got upset over it. I didnt make a big deal over it at the time as I dont like drama. Well months an months have passed and she keeps slipping in referring as mom and not grandma. Im really at the point there I will not be letting her watch my son anymore. He was acting confused and would call me the same as he would her. He is my only child. The other fact is she consists on telling me what my son likes and how he thinks. It kills me inside. She will only watch my son at her house too. This really upsets my husband and I because even for visits it always has to be at their house. I want him to be exposed to his grandparents but the lack of respect for us his parents is making it very hard. Also she does not ask me as to what he is exposed to but just takes it upon herself. How do I get this corrected? How do confront without wanting to go off on her. I would like to have a relationship with them but right now I cant stand her. Please help. Thank you
