Fan question...My daughter is playing All Stars for the first time. The coaches went through a two week evaluation process to determine a pool and bracket team for weekend tournaments. There are 13 girls and only 10 can play. The Coach named her to the bracket team and she played pitcher (6U) in the pool game, did a great job, hit well etc. Then in the third inning of the first bracket game he benches her. I asked why - no reason, just to get other girls playing time. In the second game he doesnt even start her (tells me before hand - to get the other girls playing time) and then sits her for the second inning too. As a parent and her rec coach I have totally checked out. My daughter has also checked out and now wants to concentrate on her swimming. We went from celebration and excitement to what the heck? Why would the coach do this - not stick to his selections for the bracket? He told me multiple times she has done nothing wrong.
