FanFare: Mark from CA got a Power Engine 60 to accompany his Fly Rig 5. He had a lot to say about it (a LOT), and its still a lot, so we did edit it down a tad (believe it or not!). Im loving my rig now!!! My Gibson SG Classic has never sounded better! The Fly Rig 5 + Power Engine 60 is lighter, louder, sounds fantastic, is more versitile, and NO MORE COSTLY TUBE MAINTENANCE! Im a believer!!! Your analog signal path technology blows Line6, Johnson (are they even still around), Digitech...any of the other effects makers that use DSP. It sucks. I bought a POD back in the day and thought, really? This is all the rage? I even bought a PE60 back then to work with it and sent it back becuase I thought the PE60 was the problem. IT WAS THE POD THAT SUCKED! Tube amps do sound great when all of the components are working to spec. But...tubes do wear out. And when they do...which one is it? Is it the preamp tube, power amp tube, rectifier? Did I burn something else up (which has happened to me before)? Its costly to maintain and costly to have repaired if not under warranty. The unique Tech 21 all analog signal processing does really stand alone. Youve converted me...Im a believer! Thank you Andrew for your great designs and products!!! Wow, Mark.
