FanQ: I didnt know what I was supposed to do to ask you to post something anonymously so I messaged it. I really, really need to vent right now... My ex-husband and I had a life insurance policy that we surrendered and agreed to split it. Now he plans on keeping my half from me unless I agree to give him a piece of exercise equipment that I have and also he says I have to knock four months worth of spousal support off. He says if I dont agree to these things he will keep all the money for himself. I cant agree to the spousal support thing because all that money has to go to debt settlement to pay off (hopefully anyway) the credit card debt that he has left me with. He lives rent free with family while I am still paying a mortgage and all the bills associated with it, he got out of paying any child support because our youngest turned 18 the day before we went to court. He only had her over for two nights for more than a year and didnt have to pay child support, he makes more money than I do (he did take some bills with him) and had a car given to him while I had to take a loan out on my 401k to purchase a car for myself after he ruined my van. I am so tired of him hurting me and now he is basically using our children as bargaining chips because he knows I need part of that money to get our girls Christmas presents as well as to pay for half of our oldest bus ticket home from PA for Thanksgiving. I am at my wits ends and I just dont know what to do anymore. I planned on stocking up on non-perishable food as well with the money because I am so strapped for funds right now. I just dont know what to do anymore!
