Fancy having a go at CrossFit? Weve had quite a few new enquiries - so here is what you can expect when you first come and say hello at ORE It would be great to see you at ORE CrossFit, we aim to make fitness accessible to everyone, and our community is a supportive, fun and inclusive place to be. Everyone needs to attend at least one Foundations class, to assess your movement across the 9 fundamental movements. You might be fine after one foundations class, or you might need / want to attend 2/3/4...we dont limit or prescribe this, we just want everyone to be confident of the movements so that they understand how to join in a WOD [work out of the day] and scale it appropriately. Everyone will learn the movements at different speeds. And we never perfect the movements, even after years of practice!...thats why we encourage our existing members to come to foundations classes now and again. There are no Egos at ORE, everyone is there to learn and improve. We also talk through the CrossFit methodology with you, so you have an understanding of what we do and why we do it. Forgive us if you already know a lot of this, but we obviously assume everyone has no knowledge of CrossFit to begin with. If you follow the link below [or cut and paste it into your browser], it will take you to our booking in system TEAMUP, you will need to complete the health form [please also email / facebook any medical conditions / injuries so we can tell your coach directly] If you do have a significant medical condition or injury we will ask you to obtain a letter/note from your doctor clearing you to partake in class / group fitness. Once in TEAMUP can then also purchase an induction package - which is shown on the timetable at foundations class....currently on Monday 530pm / Wednesday 530pm / Thursday 730pm / Saturday 9am / Sunday 9am.....once you buy this [£20] you will be able to come to as many foundation classes as you / your coach feels you need.
