Fancy working for the Joint Public Issues Team? Or do you know anyone who might? An intern is being recruited to work with the Joint Public Issues Team (JPIT): Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Churches working together. This ecumenical team is responsible for helping churches and Christians to speak out on issues of justice and peace, working with churches, politicians, the media, and voluntary bodies. The JPIT intern will support team members working on a range of issues including the environment, poverty, and peace. The intern will also support the communications work of the team, particularly through social media. This is a six-month post for 21 hours a week and will be paid at the London living wage. There will be opportunities for learning and development to equip the postholder for employment after the internship has ended.
