Fantastic Friday!!! Yesterday as I was getting in my car preparing for the commute home, I realized that I just had a missed call from Ki. She had a meeting after school so it was odd that she called me instead of just texting me to tell me where she was. I called her cellphone. All she said was, Mom!? And I immediately KNEW that she needed me. I heard frustration, anger, fear and hurt that was so powerful in the tone of her voice that I wanted to literally hang up the phone and drive through everyone and everything to get to her!!! (She was having a problem with a teacher but couldnt figure out how to resolve it without making things worse.) Psalm 116:3-4 declares, ...I found distress and sorrow. Then I called on the name of The Lord: O Lord, save me!!! If there is a child in your life that You love....when they Need You, most of us will kick into overdrive and will move heaven and hell to rescue them. If we do that, how much more will God do for us when we call on Him?! We have a Father in Heaven. A Great God that can Do Great things. He is concerned about what concerns us!!! He is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. His Strength is made Perfect in our weakness. He Loves His Children with an Everlasting Love. I Double-Dog Dare You to Call on Him when You need Him!!! You dont have to tell Him how to fix it or help Him fix it, just Call on Him!!!
