Fantastic day yesturday at our talk, here is just one of our reviews, thank you so much Louise.... It was a pleasure to attend the talk today. It is so refreshing to hear people talk about recovery in such positive terms. It highlights how the potential for recovery resides within each person and not within a pill! So lovely to come across an organisation that believes in people’s capacity and individuality and wellness whether theyare deemed to be in “appropriate mental health” or not, as deemed by the medical model. The only way this true picture of mental wellbeing / health can be be presented to the general population (who are brainwashed by the medical model) is for people like Louise to do what she has done – rise above a diagnosis and the discrimination that goes with it.
