Fantastic fish-filled fun Friday to you! I hope that Santa Claws left you lotsa presents. We had a near Christmas miracle last night: Sue-man dropped noms between me and Tiffany and my grey gal rubbed her head against mine to get to the treat. Not special, you meow? Well, our ears touched! Our human posted/shared the photo taken from an aerial view. People are right: I DO look like a fluffy skunk. MOL. Sue-man said that after my oral surgery she wants me to stay in Tiffanys wing for a few days til I heal. But Ill be lonely; Ill be drugged but lonely. I spent my first week in there when I was adopted-- which coincidentally (DENTAL: no accident. I am a writer.) is exactly five years to the day of my tooth work. Yes, my 5th Gotcha Day is December 29th. No presents, please; in fact, donate to a purrfect charity like Diabetic Cats In Need. Im making Sue-man do that. Sometimes I wonder how life would be different for me (and Tiffany and Sue-man) if another family was chosen to rescue me. There were four people vying for me (should be no surprise. Look at me.) and Sue-man won the chance to be my furrever human. She says that its fate cuz a year later I was diagnosed with diabetes, like 5/6 people in her family (she has low blood sugar and eats the miracle known as sugar all day, no problem). Monday will be crazy cuz Sue-mans dropping me off at the, ahem, vet and then going to work for a long day, then picking me up right after. Lucky for her, Im worth every second of her time.... P.S. (Post Santa) Please do not buy your pets Santa Claus, elf, nor dreidel costumes, even if theyre 75% off now. The emotional pain to us and the eventual physical pain to you isnt worth it.....
