Fantastic news! My missing cat Rosie is home! 50 posters and over 300 flyers around the neighbourhood (and a lot of prayers) eventually led to the phonecall Ive been waiting for. (6 weeks since she first disappeared). Shes 10 years old and never strayed before. She was seen going into the gardens of the nuns residence close to my house. I got lots of calls in the last few weeks to come and see various cats that looked very like her but they were all wrong leads. When I saw her in the distance, I wasnt sure if it was her cause I had become a bit disillusioned as Ive seen so many cats that were just like her in the last few weeks. .... But as soon as I called her name, she came running over to me miaowing and I picked her up in my arms. Im absolutely extatic. Over the moon. She has just finished an entire tin of tuna fish and she will be spoiled rotten with all her favourite foods. Shes in perfect condition so it looks like somebody else has been spoiling her rotten also. I dont mind, Im just so relieved that shes alive and healthy and that she wasnt poisioned or taken by dog fighters as I had feared. Thanks so much to everybody who helped me to find her especially Annette Doyle, Geraldine Kennedy Hunt, Trish Masterson and Olivia from Galway Cat Rescue . I am thrilled to bits. :) :) :) Here she is with the dogs in the short video we did to promote animal rescue from a few years ago.
