Fantastic presentation last night at the State Cinema by legendary Aussie DOP John Seale on the making of George MIllers latest production epic - Mad Max 4 Fury Road! Amazing insight into this mammoth production that shot in Namibia with over 1500 crew sitting down to catered lunches in the desert every day and more than 11 cameras in action, including crash cameras, rolling rigs and a cast of quirky characters from Charlize Theron to Elvis Presleys granddaughter - 10 years in pre-production and they had a storyboard instead of a script to shoot from. Fantastic session - maybe one day well do something like this in Tassie! Thanks Peter Curtis and ACS for a fab event.
