Fantastic start to the Season for the Bombers as Round 2 saw another #BomberBlitz against Frankston. The First XI led by Aiden Blizzard (72) and Ben MacRae (70*) easily chased down Frankstons 9/177. Matty Doric claimed his second 4-wicket haul for the season (4-18). The Second XI had a great team win knocking Frankston over for 116. Cal Nankervis the chief destroyer with 3/16. The boys chased them down comfortably with Justin Galeotti getting back-to-back half centuries (55*). The Third XI had a cliff hanger at Cross Keys. Passing Frankstons 6/199 on the third last ball. Adam Hunichen (30* and 3/52) saw through some tense moments to get us home. Brodie Warren (79) was the best of our batters. The Fourth XI were clinical as they led by PNG lad Riley Hekure (3/21) knocked Frankston over for 82. In reply Beau Valkas 55* saw the boys home in less than 21 overs. Big double-header next weekend against St. Kilda and Footscray. Go Bombers.
