Far lay ahead cliff as beautiful as you can see. Blue sky all around and the ocean lay beneath. You can hear the waves crash against the rocks below. On the cliffs edge there was a young girl, about in her late teens. She had long brown hair down to her shoulders. She wasnt tall but she was to short either. She wore a t-shirt that represented her favorite band and short to her thighs.She was skinny but not thin. She sat on the edge with her feet dangling in the wind as her gym shoes brushed against the rocks when they swung back in the wind. She sat there looking off in the distance nothing was in the water but she still stared. The looking on her face represented a confused unknowing looking. As if she were questioning something in herself. She looked down at the water as it hit the rocks with unrelenting force. She knew what to do as she watched the water and she knew it was the only option she had. She didnt like it but it was time to get going. Her sack lay next to her and she opened it up. She took out her canister of water, her small bag of food, and a box. Inside the box held something she knew she cherished dearly. It wasnt a big box and it was a little worn. She opened it carefully and the item was still inside. She took it out and the figure fell into her hand. It shook a little and it fluttered awake. It got up and sat in her palm. It was green and had wings, it looked like a miniature dragon. It blinked its eyes up at her and she rubbed her index finger on its head. She lifted it up and kissed its little head. She said, Im sorry you have been in there a while. Its been quite the trip. The dragon blinked its eyes in reply. Then she heard the sound of a car coming near. She took the dragon and placed it in the box quickly and apologized. She tossed her canister of water, and small bag of food inside as well. She saw the car approaching fast. She stood up ready to face what was coming towards her........ To be continued.
