Far too often people traveling in their vehicles along Highway 68 - TopicsExpress

Far too often people traveling in their vehicles along Highway 68 over Union Pass in the Black Mountains suffer from tunnel vision and seem to always affix their eyes straight ahead on the road instead of being cognizant of their surroundings. When my wife Chris Marie was with me heading to Mohave Valley for a day with friends, she got a glance of what others seldom see. All of a sudden she burst out “rams” so I pulled over to investigate. We parked about 50 yards further West from where she spotted six majestic Bighorn Sheep north of the highway and then walked back to their location. Chris was able to snap a few photos of the Bighorn Sheep. All I can say it is times like this I wished I had my Nikon equipment with me, but I have to admit Chris used her “creative eye” to get some good shots with her small Kodak digital camera. Remember it isnt the destination, but the journey that can be the most fun, adventurous and rewarding. People should never be in such a hurry to get from Point A to Point B and they should take time to smell the roses..
