Farmers Club Badaun organized a farmer’s seminar (Kisaan Samelan) on 9th October 2014 in Badaun on benefits sharing of FAO’s project ‘Seeds of Life’. The project aims to enhance Food security in the context of Climate Change in Uttar Pradesh. Humana People to People India with their funding partners Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), technical partners Bioversity International and farmers of Uttar Pradesh, are implementing this project in the Indo–Gangetic Plain region. The event was attend by Mr. R.P Singh the Deputy commissioner of National rural livelihood mission Dist- Badaun (UP), Mr S.K. Saxsena- D DM NABARD (Badaun) and Mr. Kailash Khandelwal -Director of Humana People to People India. More than 300 farmers participated in the event and discussed the benefits and results of reducing losses of agricultural biodiversity and its active impact on their lives.
