Farrah has joined the Kids Care Club at Jordan Creek Elementary School. The program is all volunteer and is run by students at Jordan Creek in grades K-6. Right now, the Kids Care Club members are collecting donations for Paws & Effect which has 16 dogs that have been placed with individuals, both veterans and children with autism; plus 25 dogs that are currently being raised by volunteers. If you are able and wiling to donate any of the items listed below, it would be greatly appreciated. You can drop them off at my house or I can pick them up from you before Monday. Students will be collecting donations such as: 1. Chew toys, the tougher the better (no raw hides as these can get stuck in the stomach and the dog would need surgery). 2. Ropes, Collars and leashes 3. Dog treats – natural vs. the processed. The best brand of treats are the Natural Balance brands. 4. Dog beds or mats and Dog bowls. 5. Tennis Balls On November 11th at 2:00 p.m. at our Jordan Creek Veterans Day Assembly, the Kids Care Club members will present the cards to our Veterans and the donations to the Paws & Effect volunteers. Thank you in advance for your consideration in helping with such a great cause!
