Fascinating documentary the other night on the bravery of the bus drivers during the troubles. My uncle Brendan and my Daddy among them. Daddy had a gun put to his head on two occasions and braved baseball bat wielding loyalist paramilitaries blocking the roads to break the Ulster Workers Strike back in the day when a strike was not in the true interests of all the working class but a sectarian tool to divide us. I salute those brave drivers, many of whom had to go back on the buses after experiencing trauma, because they had a family to support.
