Fast & Furious 7 which had production halted following the passing of star Paul Walker in a car wreck several months back, is scheduled to resume filming shortly. According to media reports, there are plans to use body doubles and CGI to work around scenes that Walker had not completed. The latest chapter in the franchise, which The Rock joined several movies back, is slated for an April 2015 release. Meanwhile, another franchise The Rock joined - G.I. Joe - has had its third film delayed as Director Jon Chu will be making a live action film adaptation of 80s cartoon Jem and the Holograms. Chu noted on Twitter that the delay in Joe is so he can make the Jem film while they work out the Joe 3 script and find the perfect story. Rock plays Roadblock in the franchise. Next up for Rock is the action film San Andres, which sees him reunite with Race To Witch Mountain co-star Carla Gugino.
