Fastjet passenger numbers rise sharply in June - Africa no-frills airline fastjet (LON:FJET) carried almost a quarter more passengers on its routes in Tanzania in June compared to the previous month, despite only 12% more seats being available. Some 53,400 passengers flew with the airline compared to 43,000 in May. The number of available seats rose 12% to 67,400 increasing the load factor, or passengers per flight, to 79% from 71%.
