Fatal MVA on Akron Rd Town of Royalton 12062014 Royalton, NY - On December 6, 2014 at 1:26 AM the Niagara County Sheriffs Office received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle accident in the area of 8525 Akron Road, in the Town of Royalton. Patrol units arrived at the scene and located an SUV on top of the guard rail to the east side of the address. The sole occupant of the vehicle was deceased at the scene. The Niagara County Sheriffs Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene and the cause of the accident is under investigation. The name of the driver is not being released at this time, pending the notification being made to his family. Coroner Lederhouse responded to the scene and moved the victim to ECMC. Also assisting at the scene were the New York State Police, Wolcottsville and Rapids Volunteer Fire Companies. Sgt. Kevin Locicero also responded to the scene to take photographs. ### ift.tt/12MvYFZ
