Fatal Pedestrian Accident in St. Landry Parish One person is dead following a pedestrian accident near Krotz Springs. The incident took place earlier this evening in the 24000 block of U.S. Highway 190. According to the St. Landry Parish Sheriffs Office spokesperson, a motorist was traveling along the roadway when the victim was hit while crossing the roadway. State police will look into the cause of the crash. We will pass along more information as soon as it becomes available.
