Father God we come before You, almighty and holy God, in the Name of Jesus, and we thank You for this opportunity to learn more of You in Your word. We thank You that You have made the way for us in Your great providence to turn away from ourselves, our flesh, our selfish ways and turn toward You. We thank You that though this path is narrow and few find it, You have equipped us with everything we need to walk the journey You have set before us. We come before You, ready to turn away from the ways of this world, the ways of our past, to leave it all behind, all you requre and all You ask, and move toward all You have for us. We are ready, Lord, for the greater things, without forgetting the first things. In Jesus Name we pray, amen.
