Father, I have plenty of experience at hurting people (sometimes intentionally) and being hurt. I have withheld love when I should have given it, and I have allowed fear and anger to control my feelings and thoughts. In countless other ways, Ive allowed some things to damage relationships that were once important to me and have always been important to You. I ask you for Your forgiveness and cleansing. I turn from these things. ....and I turn to You. Bring to my mind the name of a person You want me to reconnect with. Give me an opportunity to offer reconciliation to this person, and help us to heal our relationships, Lord, You have offered me grace, so now empower me to offer grace to those I have offended and those who have offended me. Thank you for leading the way and showing me how to be reconciled. As I draw closer to people You bring my way, help us also to draw closer to You. Amen.
