Father in Heaven, I continue to marvel at Your Word. In the beginning was the Word.. and it was God... and it was made flesh... and dwelt among us. As I continue to read and study the front part of the Bible, I see the word of the LORD came unto so many people. The Word came in visions, gave commandments, and so on... The more I flip back and forth, the more I wonder... was that Jesus?? Could it be? The LORD appeared in Shiloh and revealed Himself by the word of the LORD... In Revelation it says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy... So my prayer today, Father, is that Your Word be a light unto the feet and path of the Goetzes, as they continue in this difficult journey, show them each step they are to take. Your Word is a buckler, a shield to all them that trust Him - may Maggies mind, heart and body be fully protected by Your Word. May Your Word guard her parents and sisters hearts, indeed all of our hearts, that our trust in You may never waiver, our steps never falter. In Jeremiah, it is written Your Word is like a fire - may it burn and destroy all that is not of You, all that is not good, all that is not life. Your word is like a hammer - may it smash and destroy the tumor. The Word came to Jeremiah to proclaim liberty to the people - Father, we pray that Word over Maggie - that she be liberated from cancer! May we be doers of the Word - doing as Jesus did, walking obediently, stretching out healing hands, speaking truth and love... truth in love... praying faithfully, according to Your Word. Father, thank You for showing me this, and how such knowledge can help me pray according to Your Word, how I can intercede, stand in the gap, for little Magnolia Mae and for her family. I pray in the Name of Jesus, Who said that whoever hears His Word and believes in the One Who sent Him, will have eternal life, Amen.
