Father, on those days when life feels more brutal than beautiful remind us of this promise, He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever” (Rev. 21:4). Thank You, Lord, for taking our broken messes, our loss, our tragedy, and restoring them all for eternity. Comfort those right now that are waiting for that moment. Help them to not turn away from You after heartache, but instead run to Your loving arms. Tragedy should not be the thing that makes us question your existence, God. Instead, make it the thing that reminds us just how much we need You. In Jesus name, Amen.
