Father, thank You for everything. Let Your will be done. I demonstrate my trust on You by sitting quietly in Your Presence. All that is waiting for me, I put aside, and refuse to worry about a thing. This sacred time together strengthens me and prepares me to face whatever the day will bring. By waiting with You before I begin the days activities, I proclaim the reality of My living Presence. This act of faith, waiting before working, is noted in the spirit world, where my demonstration of trust weakens principalities and powers of darkness. The most effective way to resist evil is to draw closer to You. When action is needed, You will guide me clearly through Your Spirit and Your Word. This world is so complex and overstimulating that I can easily lose my sense of direction. Doing unnecessary activities dissipates my energy. But, when I spend time with You, You restore my sense of direction. As I look to You for guidance, You enable me to do less but accomplish more. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
