Father, thank You for everything. Let Your will be done. You continually call me to closeness with You. I know the depth hand breadth of my need for You. You can read the emptiness of my thoughts when they wander away from You. You offer rest for my soul, as well as refreshment for my mind and body. As I increasingly find fulfillment in You, other pleasures become less important. Knowing You intimately is like having a private wellspring of Joy within me. This spring flows freely from Your throne of grace, so my Joy is independent of circumstances. Waiting in Your Presence keeps me connected to You, aware of all that You offer me. If I feel any deficiency, I need to refocus my attention on You. This is how I trust You in moments of my life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
