Father, we come to you this morning with a thankful heart. We thank you for all the great blessings You have bestowed upon us, this great blessing of being American, of being Your child, and being able to look forward to the future with faith, without fear, without being troubled, but in peace, and calmness, secure in the knowledge that we will spend eternity in a place so beautiful, it is beyond human imagination. We are thankful for the freedom we have to worship You without fear, to be able to study Your word for ourselves through the education that we have freely received through Your blessings, for the freedom to choose to be a follower of Your Son Jesus Christ, and to express that belief publically without fear of persecution. We pray You will have mercy on those foolish people who refuse to see the truth of Your message, even though it so clearly laid out for them. We pray You will soften their hearts, change their hearts, and bring them into the fold. We pray all people will be exposed to the saving knowledge of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and accept it with open hearts, and minds. We again, pray for the homeless, helpless, and hopeless. Those in prisons, and hospitals, and we pray as we carry Your word to the prison this evening that You will put it into the hearts of the men to attend services in record numbers, and many will be saved through Your word. We pray for Jim Pinkston that You will put the words into his heart and mouth that will change men, and instill in them an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of You, Your word, and our Christ, and we pray all this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
