Father, we worship You today. Father, I pray that we would understand the awesome privilege of prayer. It is an awesome thing to be able to call upon You at any time in any situation. It is wonderful to enter Your presence when things are good. I pray also that we would understand the power of prayer. We see Your deliverance and provision throughout the scripture and we have experienced it in our own lives. Your word says that Elijah was a man like us and he prayed and it didnt rain. He prayed again and it rained. What a wonderful gift You have given to those who believe. I pray that we would realize that whatever situation we may find ourselves in we can call out to You and You are attentive to our cry. Thank You that are a covenant-keeping God who faithfully answers the prayers of His children. We bless You today and we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen
