Fatherly Words: Welcome to Friday ! We are very quickly approaching " Back To School Days." Mom and I have a mandatory drivers meeting, Friday the 16th and school sessions begin the 19th . So with that said, we also realize that the " Labor Day Weekend." The last three day holiday of the summer, is just around the corner. Some of you will be off to college, some of you will be entering 8th grade, and some may even be transferring to a new school. Seems that the new school year becomes a huge endeavor. The state of Illinois has not paid for the costs to run a school system for quite sometime, therefore, the burden lies upon the parent. Extra curricular activities are redicously high, and such things as Drivers Ed. Is put upon the parents. $250.00. Enough said about boring, lol, We want to encourage you today to find time to seek The Lord in quite prayer, that is undisturbed, time with Him. " Now the just shall live by faith : but if any draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition." Hebrews 10:38-39 the word drawback simply means to quit, or to backslide. Thank God He has helped us all to hang in there. So today with the faith you have go forth and conquer the things before you. Mom and I love you, and so does God.
