Fathers Day present from the kids who sorted the garden for me (big browny points) and the dogs; Skye 1st and Mac 2nd at Methwold trial in East Anglia. Mark Day was 3rd. SKye took the lead on run 17 following a good run my Mark and stayed top for te rest of the day. Mac, I felt had the better run but dropped points in the shedding ring and pen cost him the win. The Romney sheep were tricky throughout the day and were no better when they were used again. Penning was difficult throughout as was shedding. A big relief as due to working commitments this year abroad and in Devon the dogs have been neglected somewhat and have only attended three trials this year. Two more before the nationals.
